The MUNI Mendel Doctorandus programme has been officially launched!

Although the launch of the new program for active PhD students took place during the PhD day on September 14, 2022, we now had the opportunity to meet the newly enrolled students of the MMD programme face to face for the first time. The meeting took place on October 25, 2022, in the outdoor area of the Bohunice University Campus and was held in a casual and relaxed atmosphere.

New Location Added to the Children's Groups Offer at the Faculty of Science of MU

From September 2022, moms and dads from the Faculty of Science can place their children not only in the Elánek children's group at the Campus, but also in the newly established Elánek children's group in the centre of Brno, at Komenského náměstí.

A Look Back at PhD Day 2022

On 14 September 2022, the Bohunice Campus became the host of the inter-faculty PhD day. The event was designed as an information session for new PhD students, providing them with the necessary information regarding doctoral studies, interdisciplinary training opportunities, student competitions, and presentations of popular mobility programmes.

MU Application Regulations Agreement

We bring you information about a new application that simplifies sending regulations with which employees of the Faculty of Science MU should acquaint themselves on the basis of their work assignment and in relation to the obligations arising from the Labour Code. All employees will be requested to acquaint themselves with the selected MU regulations by a system email on June 30, 2022. Development Training for Supervisors of the Faculty of Science MU

In May 2022, as part of the implementation of the action plan of the HR Award project, we organised two training sessions for supervisors of the Faculty of Science of MU. Both trainings were funded by the project of the Ministry of Education, Human Resources Development and International Orientation of Research at MU.

HR Award News in the second half of 2021

In the past year 2021, which was affected by the pandemic also from the perspective of the HR Award project, especially in personal meeting opportunities, we continued to successfully implement the new HR strategy of the Faculty of Science MU.
